A genuine adventure as a starting point

It all started in 2008, with the stroke of genius of an inventor who had the feeling that cardboard combs had exceptional thermal and acoustic qualities, and tried to use them in the building field.

2009

  • Trials in the CRITT: timber-frame construction module and planks with comb-cardboard filling
  • First patent licence

2012

Alain Marboeuf, President

Hubert Lé met Alain Marboeuf, an entrepreneur with a vision, who brought the invention to life, by making it concrete and viable:

  • Creation of the Bat’IPAC company
  • Development of a new system of construction with timber frame without the planks with IPAC® that constitutes the wall, the roof and/or the flooring
  • Development of a new economic model based on people through social inclusion
  • The IPAC® trademark was registered

2013

Construction of the first house made of IPAC® in Belle-Ile en Mer

  • Acquisition of the ten-year guarantee regarding
    non-standard techniques for the partner builders
  • Second European patent approved

2014>21

Construction of some hundred prototypes made of IPAC® everywhere in France by building partners.

2017

Gold medal at the Exhibition of Inventors in Geneva.

2021

System of construction accredited by the FCBA.

2022

2 Gold medals at the Innovation Awards Mondial du Bâtiment in two categories:

  • Structural work/Framework/Envelope
  • Transforming the methods and process

2023

Start of the commercialisation phase.
