A genuine adventure as a starting point
It all started in 2008, with the stroke of genius of an inventor who had the feeling that cardboard combs had exceptional thermal and acoustic qualities, and tried to use them in the building field.
After the first encouraging trials, Hubert Lé met Alain Marboeuf in 2012, an entrepreneur with a vision, who brought the invention to life, by making it concrete and viable:
Between 2014 and 2019, a hundred of buildings made of IPAC were produced everywhere in France by building partners.
In 2020, IPAC was granted the FDES (material safety data sheet).
In 2021, the building system is accredited by the French technological institute FCBA.
IPAC’s virtuous cycle
In partnership with the biggest company in the field of cardboard and paper recycling in Europe, DS Smith Packaging, Bat’IPAC developed an innovating system of construction including a real strategy of sustainable development.
A healthy product, 100% recyclable
- Made from recycled cardboard, recyclable up to 9 times without the need to add raw material
- Added products:
- Wheat or corn starch glue.
- White glue made of cellulose.
- Watertight Akylux or Benjamin-type membrane coming from recycling and recyclable.
